I stood up this morning in a networking meeting (wearing my bow tie of course) and said 'at APJ we have a time machine' and although we don't own a Tardis, the effect is the the same; we can indeed manipulate time.

Let me explain…

What we do for our clients is to automate critical business process in a way that massively reduces the time taken to complete the task. We do this by working closely with our clients to really understand their business processes so that we can automate them in the most efficient way. In addition to saving time, once the software has a set of rules for a process it will be done consistently and accurately every time. Let me give a few examples:

• A monthly Gift Aid claim for a charity now takes less than 10 minutes instead of 8 hours.
• Calculating the gross payroll for 70 drivers on complex shift patterns used to take a day an a half a week now it takes less than 1 hour a month
• A complex high value monthly invoice run that used to take two weeks of every month is completed in 20 minutes

So, I think it is fair to say that our 'time machine' can save businesses huge amounts of time; freeing staff to focus on more strategic tasks in the knowledge that the time leeches that used to fill their days are under control and error free.
